Happy Labor Day

Before you leave for the long weekend,  or as soon as you return from, this would be a great time to do a full scan of your computer/laptop, backup all your data, and turn off your machine.  Unless you personally set your antivirus to run scan at a certain times, most will only run when you initiate it.  Same is true with backups, so if you do not have it set, please run it before you leave. Updates usually fully install only after you turn your machine off then back on.

Beginning in 1894, President Grover Cleveland marked the first Monday in September as Labor Day. This holiday is a dedication to the achievements of American workers. A tribute is given to workers in the form of a town parades, family entertainment, speeches, and of course, the day off. Emphasis is also placed upon the economic and civic significance of the holiday and how the American employees have promoted the nation’s strength, freedom, and leadership throughout history.
